Alright with the bust done it's back the space templar. But before starting up the model again, I wanted to get a base going, so here's the start of that:

Doesn't look like much progress, but I keep going over the same parts time and time again. It's slow going but it will be done in time for CB.

Nice advancements on the base. I like the highlights on the red cords on the belt. Purple ribbon is looking good too.

That dark, almost leaden metal surface is looking great... especially on the left leg!

Thank you BAM and ST. Painting NMM black and white is a very interesting challenge. The main body is mostly done now, still have to paint his sword and few odds and ends.

I really like all the work on the black armour, it looks full of subtle colours and ageing scratches....
I just noticed the blood injected eye... it look great too.

Overall looks great, but the white shoulder pad looks wrong to me. Not sure why, maybe too bright/clean of white compared to the rest.

Thank you all! Krule, I agree and I've been going over it the past few days to try and dirty it up, I think I got it to the right place now. With this Templar almost finished, it's time I started working on my Wrath of Kings squad. I went back to work on the banner for the base and cleaned and prepped the models for some paint:

I like and at the same time hate what I see!!! you are the competition after all!!! I think theyde all look better if you paint them crappy instead of finely like your doing!!! Lol :/

Alright, here's the last pics of the Templar before CB. The base is still around 75% finished, but most of my focus now is on that squad. Also, I already tweaked the white shoulder pad after taking these pics, haha.

OH I like that blade! and also the side view of the pommel looks great, with a nice shine. Although the little winged detail on the hilt of the sword do not quite convince me, or maybe is still wip and I am going too fast ^^'
