I have to admit that I don't care for the figure much but I cannot fault your work on him, very lifelike in skin tone. The door looks suitably aged, nice work.
what plans have you for the tusks or are they finished ?
the reason I ask is this is how I did the tusks on my Mumak, they yellow tusk in the background was the base colour.

Nice work Flu , skin colour looks great doors coming along nicely but I agree with Gandalf, tusks need something

The tusks aren't finished. I was thinking of doing them up like the Skorne Mammoth

Tusks are tough! I rarely achieved to do something looking impressive even by taking some references!
The wood looks good but you can add some more highlight. Actually you can try to add on the figure especially the top part. It lacks a bit of contrast. But good job And Drast looks really good too, love the base!

Thanks for the suggestion, Canny. First I did another round of glazing on the door, then glazed some purple shadows. Any better?
Keep in mind, I still haven't done all the highlights for the skin yet.

Yeah there's some super fine mold lines all over the model. I couldn't scrape them off for the life of me, just means I get to employ BAM's awesome trick.

ou can do it bud you have to do it as this piece is amazing your best easily so far so do the varnish trick remember to hairdryer it for a little time 20-30 seconds till it gets clumpy and pasty here's where this trick comes in handy.you got it flu have faith in yourself ....go get em matey.

Or you can employ another of my tricks which is when fully painted you can add "wounds" scratches ,scrapes or slices with a bit of blood for the blood god mixed with a bit of scorched brown or agrax earthshade and paint that into the join lines it's basically comparable to a slice in the skin...adding this step not only masks the join line by looking like a wound then a few smaller scrapes around that wound and around the body ,ears etc not only will you never guess it's a join line but people will be thinking you used a scalpel to make em.

New update, highlighted some stuff, did some copper parts (not highlighted yet) and a skull
