They do have alot of great stuff. I agree with the GW comment. Sometimes they go too cartoonish with thier minis.

But onto that Sasquatch....I LOVE IT. Reaper has a great one-two punch of sculptors...my favorite being Jason Wiebe (hill giant!) followed closely by Ben Siens...

I recently bought this one. She\'s great and I really love the little squire that comes with it too. But if you buy the figure and have a chance to look at it good before actually purchasing I\'d suggest checking out the outstretched arm with sword well to check for flaws (= attached to the rest of the mini). Mine has a mould shift as nearly half a mm which is about 90% just that arm and sword... so not just a mouldline but the halves of the mould not exactly aligned... that\'s a bitch to clean up... It can be done but not looking forward to that cleaning job (might need some (re)sculpting work too). Luckily the face is flawfess as is the squire. The fig is a beauty for sure though.

Then don\'t do it.
My understanding from the boards, though I haven\'t done it myself, is that if you have a bad cast, Reaper has a great policy - just mail it to them and they\'ll send you a good cast to replace it.

If I pick up defective goods in any other situation I am entitled to refund/exchange here. as this is a manufacturing problem the store should exchange it free and take the issue up with Reaper.

The problem with that is then you are basically \"sticking it\" to the little guy. I\'m all for returning stuff to big dept. type stores, but most of these mini-shops are little mom and pop operations, barely cutting a profit as it is. I know, because I looked into opening one. The guy at my local store said \"you should only do it for the love of the hobby... if you\'re looking to get rich find some other business to go into\". Now, if you\'re talking about a GW store, I\'d get them for gas money and exra stuff for loss of time and inconveining you.

Note I said mail it to Reaper, not take it back to the LGS.

Even taking it back to the LGS, the LGS should be able to return it to Reaper for credit. Reaper has a reputation to uphold and I think they can afford returns if their casting is bad. It benefits them in that they are made aware of problems, and they can improve their rep. If they are screwing up a bunch, then maybe they need shaking up anyway.
