I got a packet from Grumb, a Nurgle palanquin but as yet haven\'t had time to put any paint on it, I am hoping to rectify that as soon as I get through this busy shift period.
Darth, I understand exactly where you are coming from. I\'ve put away my painting table for a while. (never forever, I\'ll always come back to painting something.) Thus the idea of smaller/simpler minis that are pre-signed by forum regulars. If you have to bow out, we can repost for another painter to have a go at it. No harm, no foul.Originally posted by darthfoley
I dunno. I think this is a fun idea that may not be a realistic one, tbh. You\'re simply counting on too many people to not have RL interference...or not to be thieving gits.
I\'m guilty of it a bit too, I had the Eldar probably longer than anyone. The problem is that you can be all ready to go when you sign up, but by the time 3-4 people ahead of you have had the models a month or so you have had a lot of things change. That\'s what happened to me. By the time the models got to me I didn\'t have any interest in painting anything, and didn\'t have the nerve to tell people I didn\'t feel like participating anymore...so they sat here for a while.

Frenchkid if your right what a great memory you have!
Oh, and in case I was misunderstood, I was not taking a shot at Kev. I just thought it was a funny play on his screenname.
I dish out sarcasm but sometimes find it tough to locate on the plate.
Vince, no harm. I actually laughed about it. After the week I\'ve had, it was kinda nice to even get a left-handed compliment.Originally posted by vincegamer
