Hi all,
This is the first time I\'ve posted, so be gentle
I\'ve just bought myself a ForgeWorld BloodThirster - absolutly lovely model (though the body has had to be replaced). I class myself as an above average painter & modeller, though only average scuplter (aka fill the gaps and follow the detail). So felt that this would tax my skills just enough to be enjoyable.
I\'m finding that in places I\'ve got some quite nasty \'steps\' - could be mold slipage, but thats irrelevant tbh.
This pic should explain:
I\'ve (unsucessfully) had a go at another similar blemish, but without sucess. I originally tried green stuff, but that just didn\'t want to stick. Next up I tried a GS / miliput mix, this stuck, but once I\'d blended it in, I\'d lost all the definition on the hand
The only thing that I can think of now, is to gouge a V where the lip is, and to fill it with GS and actually resculpt it - however, if somebody has a better suggestion, then I\'m happy to not hack bits out of an expensive model
thx
