I\'ll be getting a portuguese water dog around labour day. It\'s taken a while for my family to see the light but I couldn\'t be happier that they have.

We have 3 cats 8 fish and 2 dogs one a guide dog reject and th eother a guide dog puppy so here is the puppy because everybody loves puppies for some reason

and on a good day if your not careful you end up with a devil puppy from hell

I personally don\'t have any pets where we live now, but back home we have a couple of cats. Sadly things aren\'t going well with them.

...was put down a week ago as she was found to be seriously ill with leukaemia. A real shame as she was a beautiful little thing. A rather odd little cat though. She was undersized for her age and could be a bit spaced out at times. She was also very clumsey for such a dainty little thing. Guess that was all down to the leukaemia?!

Harry...

...who is the big old cat, and probably more mine than anyone else\'s was rather ill last week and was diagnosed also with leukaemia as well as AIDS. He\'s OK at the moment, his leukaemia isn\'t as advanced as Sock\'s was, but that combined with the AIDS means he will be more prone to infection in the future and might not survive such a bout of illness. We\'re still debating whether to keep him (shame to put an animal down when he\'s currently in otherwise good health) or put him down (he could pass the disease to our third cat and other cats in the neighbourhood). Not a nice decision. When I was at home he used to follow me around like a lap dog and insist on eating whatever I was eating (cheese sandwich, toast, yoghurt, cake, you name it he\'ll eat it!). A very loyal animal.

...is in good health and on a course of drugs to immunise her to Harry\'s diseases. She a soft bugger who\'ll quite happily be stroked and petted all day if you let her. She\'s got this big daft, fluffy tail that gets everywhere and when she stands it flops over her face. Quite comical really.

Not a good week really.

awww arnt the puppies soo cute. i also have 8 fish named Al and G (they are twins) dorsal and Finn, Tail and Scale and the Poopsmith (hes one of those sucker fish) i havent named the other one though, hes all blue, and i havent been able to come up with a good name yet!lol

Right now I just have several saltwater fish. I did have two iguanas, and a egyptian uromastyx (Simon), but the uro died, the male iguana (Enoch) was given a new home when he tore open my sweet little girl iguana (Ming the Merciless), and the sweet girl iguana had to have a new home found for her when I became pregnant (the whole salmonella thing). Now that my daughter is five, she wants a pet, and we have been thinking about a hedgehog (who will NOT be named Hedgy!).

I have two birdies, but I won\'t be able to take any pictures before a couple of weeks. I don\'t know the names in English, but they\'re small and gray with white vertical lines that run down their faces (sort of like tears, only less depressing) as well as orange beaks, and the male has bright orange cheeks.

They\'ve been around for about ten years now, and they still PANIC when I get anywhere close to their cage to feed them. I tried training them, but they\'re too busy being afraid to listen and make tricks. Seriously, they\'re the dumbest animals I\'ve ever seen.

... which is probably what makes them so lovable.
