A craft shop I regularly visit sells Anita\'s paints. I\'ve bought a few, and they have their uses, but the consistency and transparency can be a problem.
Also, I\'ve recently heard Anita\'s described as \'cheap and nasty\', and a new art and hobby shop stocks Multi paints. I picked up a couple of bottles and they seem to be decent quality.
But I got thinking about the craft paints I\'ve heard mentioned on here, and a couple of quick google searches turned up UK sources for some of them: Apple Barrel, Folk Art, and DecoArt Americana. No Delta Ceramcoat, unfortunately.
I plan to pick up a bottle or two of each, but I\'d like to ask a few opinions and give you a chance to wax lyrical (I know you want to
).
How do they compare to eachother? Particularly since Apple Barrel and Folkart seem to be standard and premium brands from a single manufacturer.
Any brands I\'ve missed? Any recommended colours or any to avoid, too?
