An insane Project Log.

I have come to terms with the fact that I will never, ever be able to paint all the miniatures I have collected (hoarded) over the years.

I have oodles and oodles....most of them still in the packaging they came in....

SO, to that end, I think my goal instead will be simply to construct, base and Prime all my miniatures.

Maybe occasionally I\'ll paint one or two, but my goal is to just put them together. That doesn\'t sound so bad, does it?

I\'m old, slow, and get easily distract....................................................................................................................................................ed

So, to keep me on the straight and narrow, I was hoping to use the power of peer pressure to keep up with this feat.

It\'s no small undertaking.

It begins, now.

Post pics of your first block you lazy Bastard!

Idea! If you\'re serious, let\'s gamble on the outcome. You bet unpainted mini\'s vs. a stack of comic books I\'ve got kind of a deal. Interested?

If your desk isn\'t covered with things waiting for glue to dry, then you don\'t have time to chat and post on here, so cut/file/glue something up.

Might want to find a box to put things in after you get them prepped for priming.

Or you could cheat...prime everything on the sprues, and then just touch up the basecoat after assembly. ;)

Also easier to see if you have mold lines left, cause when you remove the mold lines, you also remove the primer coat of paint and know when they are flush when you remove paint next to it that isn\'t form a mold line. ;)

This is the kind of thing I am nowhere near brave enough to attempt. I\'d have hundreds and hundreds of models to build, and that\'s just Space Marines... then there\'s all the other armies I\'ve amassed over the years :p Is it possible (or if yes, then wise) to list what your pile is made up of?

Currently tho I am enjoying working on a classic Dwarf army... so far the only assembly has been gluing models onto bases and sticking plastic shields onto some of them :D My kind of assembly!

I bet that as you prep, assemble and prime minis you\'ll get inspired to put paint on some of them as well. When you do, go for it! You can always get back to the major task later.

Now, show us some pictures, you lazy, procrastinating, easily distracted sod!

You should take him up on that vikey, hehe. I am trying something similar, essentially trying to make a sizable dent in my lead mountain, to make room for more of course, but that\'s besides the point lol

Good luck!

Ain\'t we all, Ain\'t we all.

Though for some of us the lead may be LEAD and not pewter/white metal ;):D
