I went through a time when I loved his books. Then I noticed the next series was the same as the first one. And the pattern continued.
Thats it exactly. When I read the second series I kept on thinking I was accidentally reading the first again. Very weird.
Sounds like listening to
Vivaldi.
Similar anecdote, only less interesting because it doesn\'t involve someone famous:
My dad has a stove over his fireplace. Une day he moved the stove away from the fireplace to see how much creosote had accumulated. Unsure if the black residue he found was creosote, he put a match to it and ignited the inside of his chimney. The heat cracked the brick along the outside of the fireplace, and my dad extinguished the flames by putting the stove back in place over the fireplace.
He paid for the damage to be repaired, including installing a new heat resistant insulated pipe in the chimney, then contacted his insurance company to make a note of the change on his policy.
\"Okay, sir, we\'ll send an adjuster over right away and get you a reimbursement for the repairs.\"
\"No, you don\'t understand. I just wanted to tell you about the change, not get reimbursed for the repairs. The fire was caused by my own stupidity.\"
\"Sir, you are
insured for stupidity. lol
