'Nice bananas. They for your monkey?'
'yep!'
'is it fun owning a pet monkey?'
'sure is - I'm having a whale of a time!'
'oh... Then why so blue?'

I'll get my coat.

You sir are the reason I now have to redo a part of the mini I was working on.. Spewed cola all over it...

But any ideas of having a monkey on the base too :D could be fun.

Looking good andy!

I ahree with with krule on the red , but I think it'll balance out nicely if you put in some pinkish white hints on the chin/lip area as shown in the reference image

Finished the big guy they're aspects of him I'm very happy with but other bits are a bit rough. Couldn't quite face doing another mini after the massive project but as promised months ago I'm revisiting the wolfen. I managed to get a lot of the purple paint I spilt all over it off with the chewed match stick treatment but the hair was unsavable so I re did that also had a go at the blade and the leather on th scabard. Looking at it again it's weird the painting in areas is very rough and the sculpt is atrocious in parts but it's got nice character so for a relaxing piece I'll get it done before moving onto a proper project.

Good news on the wolf, you would never know now about the spilt paint.
Whale looks great but there's something wrong, don't know what it is ?

D'Accord.
I think the jaw chin area needs to reflect what a blue whale is in life as I suspect that our expectations of seeing that 'echo' of reality is what's confusing us.

God its waaaay to early in the morning for that deep a thought.

Could be with the blue will add some more tones but putting it on a back burner for a while I need a break from it.

Done some more on the wolfen quite enjoying this rough little mini.

The gold looks brilliant. Maybe the chosen background is too similar in color to the miniature. It is hard to figure things out in the pictures. At least for me.

Looking great. I especially like how you've done the nose and inner ear. And I think sword-half-drawn is a somewhat underused pose.

About how big are the Rackham Wolfen? I've had my eye on a few, but I haven't found a good picture that shows their scale.

They're 30mm scale but they are monsters so about one and a half times the size of a person about the height of your thumb or there about's

These pictures are better for my eyes. I like what I see. The hair and especially the tail look a bit rough to me compared to the smooth skin and NMM.
