You've done a good job in stopping the hair and gold from clashing :good: I reckon you could go even darker in the extreme shadows on the armor.

I agree with Bailey that you could pick out certain parts of the her hair more but on the other hand it's looking very good and you don't want to risk a repaint, so leave alone imo :)

I really love the hair and think it would be a shame to change it too much. I just think the green in the gold is causing some minor trouble. Hate to warm it up too much, and you want them to look distinct from each other. If I had to choose though, I would rather you changed the armor over the hair. But what do I know, I'm still over here learning how to use my Big Chief* Paintbrush.

*If you didn't have Big Chief growing up, it is a huge freakin' wood pencil that we used in kindergarten or 1st grade to learn how to write big big letters.

I dont see any real issue with the colour of the hair, or the metal. Perhaps I'm wrong but I think the main issue is the sculpting and shape of the hair. I understand that it's meant to be billowing, but I find it looks a bit odd.

Fantastic paint job all over. Looking forward to seeing more.

I should start a croc thread it would soon fill up with all the wonderful pics sent in and yes Stef I'm sure would love those crocs :)

Er no green in the nmm gold at all maybe a colour contrast setting on your screen dunno? Anyway yeah the hair is a bit weird but I like it.

right I've done a bit of dark shading near the roots of the hair and I've been cracking on with the gold and the leather. Jewels and staff and foot to go yet.

The cloth, wings, hair, and gold are so awesome that the skin may need some more work. I cannot my finger on what you could do to it as the skin is already better than anything I could do. It just doesn't seem to the same level as the rest.

Right she's nearly done a few glazes and some free hand on the cloth to go and the base to do yet another couple of nights should see her done really enjoying this one. Yes lee straightened out the bent spear.

Looking great! I really like it with the rest of the gold armor finished. The cloth is excellent as well.

All done now been painting this one for a month. Going to have it standing across from Thor at Euro. Going to get a nameplate for it too.

Looks fantastic. I like the snow base, it works with the simple color scheme of the figure. Definitely a beautiful piece, good luck with it at Euro!

Yeah Lee I thought I'd take a quick pic of the minis I've finished so far for entry to Euro. Going to do one more good one for Euro it's a toss up between the frog King that Stef did and the shark guy with the mermaid.

any way here's the pic of the current lot.
