Anyway picked up the Aradia mini again and going to finish it off skirt and helmet mostly done ish.

Very odd stance there. I would feel compelled to have someone or something bearing down upon him. Otherwise, he is simply murdering the lumbar muscles right now.

The group shot of your Euro entry tells the story of a great year of painting, Andy. You've got some amazing pieces there (though my favorite is still the little skeleton emerging from his tomb)!

The base on the skeleton is my favourite by far but mini wise I still go with Thor.

Nice and clean painting as usual mate, not a fan of the mini though.
You do like your NMM steel and flesh minis

I dunno it's alright. Weird choppa other than that it's good. Kinda more like a video game fighter.

Anyway more done big choppa to do yet and loads of glazing on the armour and the base needs doing as well.

I gotta say Mr. AndyG, your painting has progressed exponentially from the beginning of your WIP to now Great minis!!

Long time no update here so better change that. The wife and kids have been away to Ireland over the last couple of weeks so I have been enjoying myself eating steak and drinking beer and watching Arnies finest movies (predator IMHO ). But no painting done over this time. So I picked up the brush last night and have attacked the Aradia mini again come on quite a way. Shield and base to do yet, enjoying this one.

The metals are looking fantastic! I really like the overall colour palette and the way the cool armor contrasts with the warm flesh tones. I think this could be your best mini yet!

My only critisism is that he looks a bit off centre on the base to my eye. Although that could be the angle of the photos.

Yeah, really nicely done on the metals! This is a great NMM reference for anyone trying to learn how to do it.

Yep David it does look of centre the mini comes integrated with a mound of earth base that I've covered up with sand here the edge of which hits the edge of the plinth. I should have put it on a bigger plinth so as to make it more central.

That dark and colorful metal on the head of the weapon is really nice. All of it looks nice, though!
I gotta admit, I find the mini itself sort of ridiculous. The pose of the spine hurts to look at and the tilt of the head makes him look like he's hunting birds in flight.
