Especially the skin looks really vibrant and is just beautiful!

What are your plans with the swords? I'd definitely go different than the rusty steel seen elsewhere on the mini, so that they stand out. Anyhow

Saw purple blue and white with some red on the undersections thats pretty much it. Digganob dunno yet some rusty techno hell type thang i think. BFK er this.

I actually like the plain chrome painting base you have him on. Emphasizes the mini and complements the NMM.

Swords looks outstanding. Are you going to glaze them with some color though? Perhaps some blue steel effect? Not necessary but just curious, may help them stand out more. They are beautifully executed but that's to be expected.


Have to ask, is that just snakebite leather on the pommel of the blade? Just wondering because I'd like to compare how it looks to my own homemade version of snakebite. Thx.

Yep snake bite and yep glazing. Getting into the final stretch here now got to do the rock he is wrapped around and the base plus a bit of smoothing here and there so a few more days and done!

i see some people painting that mini atm, and i really like it=) not really my style with the big baddie muscle monsters, i´m afraid. but this is cool!

Cheers Steff and ischa. Going to be a bit fan boy here but the colours were influenced by the work you've done especially that big ratboy of yours Steff. Been trying to push the contrast as far as it will go without it looking to overworked.

Glueing it back together but it's never going to be as good again was hoping to put this into Euro along with some others now I'm thinking the chips and damage are going to be to distracting as you can never quite get it back to what it was.

I feel your pain. I've had a few close calls since we installed tile in the basement. I was considering putting down a layer of those kids play foam pieces or just some cork tiles in the hobby room. Then my wife made fun of me for wanting to paint in a padded room :wilt:
