AndyG......…………Feeling your pain here mate.

If it's chipped that badly, you've got limited options;
Firstly apologise to your wife for teaching the little ones such bad language.
Secondly go out and buy yourself a big bar of chocolate.
Thirdly with tears in your eyes and with due reverence, dignity and proper ceremony consign it to the Dettol. Wait until Sunday, wash it down, re prime it then paint like you have a demented Ferret stuck down your shreddies to get it done in time for Euro.

Right don't know if I've managed to save it rebased it but the edge is rough as I had to chop to fit probably going to spray the new base black to merge the edge in. Sword snapped of and the tip of the back sword got it as well. Repainted the chips I can tell they're there but whatcha gonna do eh? Any way here it is, is it saveable?

If i might be so bold... anywhere the is a chip or crack on the armour or blades, work with it. Rustify and damaged them. Andy where there is a chip r crack on the mini mix some liquid gs with your paint and do up some scar issue from old wounds to "hide it". I think you can save this for shure :)

You did it! Looks good to me.

The joint between the wood and the water looks rough as you say. You could hide it with a strip of plasticard or something and paint that to match your rusty bits. Glue some rivets and pipes and what not on there. Might actually turn out pretty cool.

The green ball looks a little out of place to me.

Chips, what bloody chips!
Now that's a rescue! WAY TO GO ANDY!

Going to agree about the water base edge that needs something and for me I'd suggest the green ball should be a blue to match/reflect the blue in the figure.

first my heart sinks for you, but you have recovered well, it is hard to tell and if you didnt give direction to look I would not have picked it. Zab has it down - make it part of the enviroment/Mini. I like the base overall not sure about the white bubbles and ball either. Power on.

I personally love the base and I see your intent in it. It's an alien environ meant to look natural with the mini but at the same time contrast with it in a few different ways. Cheers to some good Mr Fixit work. I can't tell at all. But as you say, YOU know how it looked before the fall so it must be quite a drag. You should be proud of this one Andy, because I think you ventured a bit outside of your comfort zone with it, yet still pulled it off!! 9.2

Er, 10.0 it is

Love it Andy, but what is that coiled spring coming out of its posterior? (or is it on the base?)

i got this Andy. The "coiled spring" you erroneously identify, is actually a refurbished latitudinal reciprocater. The first gen one though, not the modern component common to the marketplaces of Zule on the planet of Knuckkyuc. It's emanating from the base, obviously, because contact with the reciprocater is capable of causing semi-irreversible chromosomal reversal. Duh.

Look man, that's cool, but remember that when you let go of stuff it tends to fall and break okay? So play nice with gravity on this one :p

I agree with you Andy, if you take it to Euro you will want to make another base for him. The painting on the guy is so awesome you hate for that edge to detract from him.

I just got the Barbarian dude too. I'll be watching what you do with him.
