Lol - there was a lot of Quality minis being shown about on the day. Ali Mcvey showed me the Studio paintjob she did on Kifaro. The skin is genius how it blends to near black, with a wierd reverse effect of lighter recesses. Very cool.

I dont think its the painting, its the mini, just not keen on it. Maybe thats the problem on your side? Cracking base like it :)

After ive finished the bone guy, Im starting on that Hasslefree barbarian we both bought at Salute - maybe have a start on that one mate? or even the green Knight ;)

I was like that on the blue marine that went on a 'trip'. I just could not get it how I wanted it?

Will start the barbarian after ive finished the chaos champ, not sure how long so if you want to start yours first or wait its up to you.

Very good idea the more the merrier we can bounce ideas of each other and then have a bit of a mini comp.

I realy enjoyed doing that with the crow; it adds another dimension to the painting and you push yourself a bit more.

heres the link to hasslefree miniatures and the wolf mini so you can order it

Look forward to you doing this 10 ball and wildoring. Any one else up for it LOL:)

His shield I've repainted it about five times just can't seem to get it just right hey ho there you go.

Doing what you said about trying new techniques on minis your not 100% about going to try doing snow for the first time.

Excellent wildoring! Ive pinned and primed mine cant wait to get going might start it soon but def wont post until your ready guys. Gonna go to town on it.

Ok have finnished the celt tried a bit of an ice compacted snow base wanted to make it look like its bee trampled down with people fighting on it. Also tried out the spray blood splatter on the snow. Over all glad I tried it. You got to try these things havent you or how do you learn eh?

Any way here is some pics gonna put it on the submissions and post it on my gallery. Not the best Ive done but at least I stuck with it and got some sort of finnish:)

Also a pic of the pinned and primed barbarian 'Wolf'

I'm going to join in on this. Went a head and ordered it but the time to the states will take longer I assume so I'll probably be the last one finished! :p
