I Just love this mini. Only just noticed that the scabbard has no end. Really colourful and fitting job for the sculpt. great job andy.

WoW! Those giant pics have scored you some extra brownie points - its very neat and tidy paintjob mate. I think all the colours work well together, the base is good and its a nice old school sculpt which you have made look great with the painting. Nice one. Off to vote now!

Started a new mini a gift from 10 ball (cheers mate:good:) the special edition GD 2008 sorcerer. Just sketched in the flesh glowy blood eyes /horns and fabrics.

Might be my last mini for a month or two as the wife is going to pop in the next couple of weeks with our second kid; its a boy someone to mould into an uber geek painter Im sure:). Ive tried with my daughter but while she'll happily paint plastic chaos warriors all day theyre pink and enhanced with golden glitter :laugh:

Cheers guys, the base I was thinking a summoning circle eldritch rune engraved stonework, dribbley candles,skulls and magic grimiores. That kinda thing.

Done the gold got a bit more work to do on it sticking greens and purples in the shadows and a wash or two more of yellow also some scratches and dents to do. Might make the eyes pop a little more. The rest of the skulls and what not to do yet and then on to doing the base. Quite pleased so far.

couple more update pics done the gold and jewels and a few more bits ana bobs on him, hmm real problem damn thing keeps crashing all the time when I reply to the thread.

It looks very good so far especially the golds and the man dress! An idea for the base, how about a pentagram with candles at the points? Anyway you go this bad boy is going to look fantastic.

Glad I scrolled all the way down. At first, I was afraid the skin tone and gold were too close. But these latest pics disprove that.

Sorry for the delay on posting Ive been rather busy with the missus can you believe it shes still not popped yet been back and forth to the bloody hospital all a false alarm no sign of when babys coming out bloody well fraying my nerves I'll tell you.

Annyyyy way did the base for the sorcerer a bit of a mess about not my best but Ive enjoyed it will post on submissions asap
