Done a little bit more.....oh wait....whats going on? Something has just materialised behind my Chaos Lord(I think he's a bit scared!). I would be with an avatar of the fifth chaos god CASSARUS SCARIUS!!!

And it only took one and a half cans to prime

Going to continue with the space marine but will soon concentrate on the big boy

Err might need some bigger brushes and one of them new fangled thingies err an airbrush? Joking aside Im in the market for a second hand one if anyone has got one they want to off load.

Right been out and bought some wopping (that be rather large to my American cousins) sable brushes too attack the big boy and plotting out the coulour scheme thinking something like this http://www.coolminiornot.com/308074?browseid=3439151

Any way nearly done the chaos lord poured a plaster of paris mould and then smashed it up to produce the base added some tau stuff I got of the ME29 (cheers) which I still have to paint up and Ive got to add some battle damage and maybe a bit of barbed wire (undecided on that though) and I will be done.

Anything any one wants to suggest otherwise will finish off and post and then on to the big boy.

Ok pretty much finished some slightly better photos will take some more in day light and post on submissions tommorow.

Sorting out a paint scheme for the big lad will start him tommorow evening, he he he (dry rubs hands with anticipation).

Ok started on the big guy going for a crocodile style colouring on him so browns and oranges and yellows and greens lots of spotting and what not.
So base coated the skin with vermin brown. So damn big its taken a full pot and been painting with a 10!

Will post a scene by scene with this one. All help and suggestions will be very well recieved as it is overawing.

looks like you will be busy for a while Andy i would stick to the techniques you use on your regular mini's and see how well they apply to this im gonna google some reptile/fantasy images see what i can come up with. Any thoughts on the armor or bling colour schemes?

i like these eyes

and this is a bit less drab than the gator skin
