Will look forward to these, great idea. That Slaanesh champion from AZ is fantastic.

Well, if you're gonna feel unclean it might as well be while you're working on a Nurgle follower ;) Next to the aspiring champion clampack for chaos marines that is one of the only really top notch sculpts GW has released lately ~sigh~. There were some other nice ones, but they were all failcast so they don't count.

Yeah going to do an old ruin with crumbling masonry and gargoyles. A bit of osl from torches and just slot in the squad with removable bases.

Gargoyles or grotesques????

You've been watching QI haven't you! All right technically grotesques but I might let one of them have a water spout, hmm that might be quite good actually to show water staining and moss etc.

Great day today at salute didnt make the cut but the bar was very high so dont feel to bad! Spent far to much money heh and had a fantastic time.......anyway back to the painting Im really really loving this Nurgle guy I think I have been converted to the deep dark gunky side Skelletets Lol Spent some more time darkening the skin trying to get a necrotic look around the big split in his guts and doing lines showing blood poisoning. Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

All right pics.

Unbelievabley I have manged to get soem more work done wonders never cease eh?

Any way a quick start on the armour I need to tie it together with some mid tone glazes as the transition between the highlite and shadows is to harsh maybe warm up the highlites with a glaze of very thinned out yellow.

Man you guys are going to make me do mine, aren't you? I just need to find him a new axe head, since Krell stole his.

Awesome work so far Andy.

Excellent contrast! The yellow color of the rotten skin/wounds against the less saturated armor in a greenish/dark blue is simply excellent...
I will keep these color scheme for new mini ideas...

(BTW, any website with color scheme for mini according to the mood/type of mini? That would be great, some suggestions especially for newbies... i.e. popping saturated yellow/red (warm) vs blue/green slightly desaturated, with some example beside... It would be so great to pick up some color scheme idea and try to apply to mini.)
