Cheers lads the base is from a German company that was at euro millitaire they had loads of plinths like this one with knots and bits of bark on them then all varnished up. I like this one as it looks like some crevice in the ground. Not sure but I think the name of the company was britnell bases?

Andy asked me the same question last night.
I love water effects, it's just the last three times I have used the blasted stuff it's leaked out of the mould.
It's 10 balls kryptonite !

Bet he didn't type it as badly as I just did though?

My touchpad's playing the silly "tyoe blind" trick on me again.

Anyhiw ARBAL's blog has some good advise on water effects and making the dams right ..like a lit of thing in life you need a tight seal to stop leaks.

I would have the horns / spines on his back as bone (horn or some type of scales) to break up all the blues and get more 'realism'.

The pics might be crap but the work stills shows well. Really nice blends and contrast.

might give it a go but when I looked at stock photos of crocs etc they don't have the different horny bits its all the same type of colour we'll see though here's an update on the metal.

Wow, the color is so different there. It looks way better than the pure blue in the pic before.

Yeah took by my camera this time so the iPhones colour selection thingymibob didn't feck it up. Er ever so slightly out of focus though so that might go some way to explaining the smoothness of it lol;)
