Cheers lads! Demi be careful mate renting to anyone in receipt of benefits is my hard learned advice. Some of them are good decent people who would walk a mile to pay back a pound but too many others are lazy good for nothing scum who take everything and give nothing but grief! I hope you don't end up like I did oh and never give them any leeway on paying as they just rack up more and more debt! Court straight away is my advice as soon as is legal.

any way enough of that as you guessed I'm a tad bitter!

More important things some more painting!

Not a fan of the overly muscled minis, but i love the paint you are putting to the skin.:)

I see several minis that have unbelievable musculature that the most hardened body builder could not ahieve with 'roids, HGH, and synthol injections (Reaper has one of the worst in their learning to paint kit...whou ever heard of someone having ten distinct ab muscles!)

Don't know about that Mike but certainly the milk of my human kindness is going a bit sour at the moment! Lol

i know what you mean Krulebear er maybe he's doing a Sláine and warping out. That was such a good comic back in the day loved the black ink drawings when he used to warp out they should so do a mini of him!

Bit more done on the mini got to think about the base soon. Got a nice Spanish olive plinth from Lee I'm going to incorporate into it. Anyway more pics.

I think it is normal for steroid boy to be at the toilet to shoot up;).


The colors are looking good Andy, but someting seems odd about the sword sculpt.

Edit: this does make me want to take my Thrudd the Barbarian mini out of the blister and paint him though.

needs more work only got the basic stuff done on it more midtone and glints etc etc. Thrud rocks!!

Skin is off the frickin hook. That left thigh is perftec. He has that weathered and tanned skin feel to him. I feel like if I shook his hand he would have not only an iron grip but his calluses would rip my palm apart.

With the sword, I like how you did something different. You went horizontal with your gradient instead of the standard vertical. And it works very, very well.

If you base this guy well he will get 9+.

Nah skels, i´m with you here. not a fan at all. generally buff minis like him are not my cup of tea tho.
Paintjob looks great tho, great contrast on the leg=)

Finished the sword and got the base set up ready too paint. Lots a skulls trying to do a frank franzetta style base here.
