Update on the progress done the shoulder pads f*cking red hate it so I shaded down not too dissatisfied with it. Metal work and gems mostly done they need glazing yet. Gonna do the power sword a glowing crackiling blue along with the inside of the jet pack engines.

Not looking forward to the parchment! To make it look good I'm gonna have to do proper writing somehow?!?

Each feather on those wings is like doing a separate NMM sword. I appreciate how much work that is. I have to say bro, you have really shown what you can do on this mini, and proven yourself the equal of Tommy Soule's non-Metallics. If you were Gandalf you'd have just gone from Grey to White. You have leveled up my friend.

Latest done some work on the power sword and the twiddly bits also started on the purity seals basing and a couple of washes. Gone with rotting flesh and a glaze of graveyard earth.

Some good progress mate. imo i would put some more warmer blues first for the 'lightning' effect working up to the whites as final flash points.

Warmer blues? seems a contradiction er forgive my stupidity er purple/ blue? A red hint or something? old school GW paints what would you use?

warmer - wrong word, I mean an ice blue type colour, as a midtone from the dark to light. :thinking:

Cheers Lee put some ice blue in like you said I want to keep the glowing blue of the blade itself and just have the power crackle up a bit of the way so no black blades for me at the moment.

Main painting done the glazing dots of colour scratches etc etc to go now plus the base.

yep, didnt notice the black blade tbh. Was thinking about the blues on blue.
Looks good mucka I reckon you still could go darker then lighter on the blade.

Looking good so far. More cold color to scrolls will add nice contrast in compare with the gold armor. It has too close color to the color of the armor now. GL
