Tell the truth Andy, you've found a special cubby hole to "Concentrate at Work" , just like a former colleague who would put up a "Meeting in Progress" sign on his office door on a Friday afternoon. Amazing how his golf handicap improved.

I don't know what you mean Mike just because im head of dep and my office is at the back of the lab on a different floor from all the others (three locked doors in the way and my key is different!). And that the final exam has been done and most of the students have gone home or are going home in the next week or so and all the prac work is done has absolutely no bearing on my work load and spare time..........honest......i promise...

I dig it...
Ive seen one example of this mini where they executed a freehand along that mm wide surface, and it was pretty effective. Just an intertwining curl with a hash mark where the curls meet, with a circle around the hash. Simple but effective. Don't think it's beyond your FH abilities at all, it's more a matter of taste. Personally, I'm saving all of my efforts for that cape.

Whoa! That's a lot of painting since I last checked in! Love the bust!
On this guy I like the turquoise too, maybe red flowers/pattern? One thing I might do before I continue with the turquoise though is take a good look at it without that blue on your dolly. The shades seem close and might be accentuating each other. Sometimes i use this kelly green masking tape on my plinths and when I take it off I find I don't like the project as much without it. Just a thought. Of course, you are the Maestro!

I'm really enjoying the (far to fast for your own good) progress your making with the Flower Knight.
Normally I'd say NMM looks best with some reflected colour in it but I think the black to white is extremely effective and totally successful!
A mental note has been made for later use.

Cheers Dave. I thought the stark black and white would emphasize the sparkling clean romantic knight. No rust or blemishes on this knight just very shiny!
Anyway a bit more done and onto the bushel thing on the back. I am coming around to the idea that this knight is a woman (narrow waist flared hips dress?)

A woman you say, I would guess a skinny adolescent, look how far the shoulder joint are from the body !
