Looks great! Fantastic job with this figure. The NMM is awesome and the little bit of freehand on the cloth is a nice touch. The only criticism I can give you is that the tree doesn't seem up to the same level as the figure. The leaves all look pretty flat. If you're planning to compete with this piece, you might consider going back and adding some more color variation on the tree leaves (like you did with the ones on the figure) and maybe some light/dark. You said you still had a few tweaks, so maybe that's what you were planning to do. And, again, the figure itself is wonderful.
Cheers mate. Yeah the leaves need doing it took me a bloody age to glue em on so I lost the will to paint em then so will crack on with that tomorrow.

Ok did the monster comp so on to a prezzy from 10 ball CONAN an old andrea mini.

Also my new favourite modeling stuff. Light modelling paste fantastic to fill in gaps on joins just use an old brush wipe off the excess with the same brush (cleaned ) dries in a couple of minutes and accepts paint no problem much quicker and easier than using milliput and you don't have to wait hours for it to dry plus its only a couple of quid from ebay.

I'll be back! Er well actually I am back but couldn't resist as we are on to Arnie! Started the skin got lots to do on it yet glazing fine detail blood etc etc but light placement and shading done. Love this mini very old school sculpt 1999! But as I've got king conan its very nice to have this one earlier in his career treading the skulls of his enemies beneath his feet to the throne of Aquilonia! The Hyborian age rocks.

Great skin tones mucka. I would usually say more contrast but I think your spot on.
Just a few glazes needed to remove the step from dark to light in places.

Bah, too much praise :( that sword is your worst nmm to date!.......lol. Had to say something bad so all my drooling over the skin tones doesn't give you a big head :D

Who is you Daddy and vair does he verk?

Love it! The only thing I might consider is adding some temperature contrast on the skin. Might make things more interesting if you either added a cool green or perhaps even just added some blue into your red skin color that you already have used. This might make a cooler purple tone. Anyway, just another form of contrast we often overlook.

Yep glazing reds and purples and blues a slight bit of smoothing needed on the face but definately coming along on the skin. It might not look like a big load of work since the last set of pics but there a good four hours there!

oh Arnie quote!

“YOU COLD-BLOODED BASTARD, I’LL TELL YOU WHAT I THINK OF IT. I LIVE TO SEE YOU EAT THAT CONTRACT, BUT I HOPE YOU LEAVE ENOUGH ROOM FOR MY FIST BECAUSE I’M GOING TO RAM IT INTO YOUR STOMACH AND BREAK YOUR GOD-DAMN SPINE!!!”

Duuude! You put that together very nicely, exactly what I was picturing. I am astounded. I don't know if it is possible, but you seem to be improving....STILL! The face is superb as well. Right on man!

Now make that blade shine! I'd like to see how reflective you can make it appear.
