Watcha everyone after doing several small minis I've decided to make a start on the nocturna Freya to compliment Thor. Trying to get this done all ready for Euromilitaire. Gorgeous sculpt you can tell its 3d printing on the rocks I saw what I thought was the sculptors thumbprint but on examination it was the printed layers. Anyway face done.

The look of someone whose wiped their arse on your bed sheets !

Awesome start Andy, a great sculpt but to capture such an expression is fantastic.

Let's be honest if she looked like that would you really mind if she wiped her arse on your bed sheets?

Lovely start on Freya. I was mighty tempted to get that model when it first came out. So I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it. I'm sure it will be amazing!

... I lock myself in the toilet and paint toy figures!

Finally caught up on reading your WIP thread. Lots of thoughts and emotions. Great job on so many different miniatures.
But this... this caught my attention and sparked an epiphany! I have been using our spare bedroom anyway, but have had trouble with lighting. I have an additional lamp coming that should help, but I never considered using the spare bathroom. It has a built in vanity and a huge mirror with tons of narrow shelving. Power on two sides. Double sinks. Marble counter for easy cleanup. Why? Why oh why did I never consider painting in the bathroom before?!?

Keep up the good work. Best of luck with your son, I have a couple of nephews who have different stages of autism / auspergers and it can be challenging, but finding what works and keeping a routine can be a huge comfort for them. Looking forward to many more hours of reading / seeing your work and finding other breakthroughs (not to mention all the painting ones I can't live up to yet)!

It works for me grayfax but it can be bloody annoying when someone wants to use the loo!

Anyway the flesh got the finishing touches (lots of glazing in there) and primed the hair.

She's a great sculpt. Depending on what the overall colour scheme is that you have in mind, I'd consider adding some auburn/red into the hair. She's just always struck me as a rather feisty deity, so I think the reddish tones may suit that. But splendid work all round - that skin is especially gorgeous.
