Annoying Pop up congrats

Is there a way to turn off the bloody annoying pop ups that congratulate you for doing whatever on here? I could care less really, but those pop ups are like fingernails down a chalkboard to me. I close them, click on another thread, and they come back!

I think it may be under the Profile. At least there is a tick box that says Hide Browser notifications.
Get it by clicking the little Avatar Icon by the your name, top left. Then press 'Click for Profile', after that 'Settings'

First time I voted for over 100 minis it went from about 70 points to 430 but it was fixed the next day.

Still have no clue what the points or rewards I get are or used for.

I've been around for exactly one year, and as you can tell by my more than 2,000 comments in that time, I am a very active user. I have 810 points. Also feel that my Rep should be higher. I'm reputable, right guys?

My Congrats Messages have never returned after I unticked the box. Pretty pleased with that :)

How exactly does it work?? I have a rep power of 2,.. but not sure how or why that's come about.

is that a good thing or a bad thing??? Not all reputations are good reputations
