Anyone in the U.S. know where to get W&N series 7 brushes?

I\'ve found the series 7 standard in searches on sale at a lot of online places, the miniature seems harder to find. Jerry\'s has both, so despite their weirdnesses about shipping, I\'ve been sticking with them. They often usually have the standard on even more of a sale than their regular discount prices. (I\'ve yet to see the miniature line go on sale. )

To my eye, the difference between the standard and miniature is pretty much what people have said - the main difference is bristle length. The standard and other sables I\'ve seen (Vallejo, Adikolor, Reaper) have a fairly long bristle head. The W&N miniature is maybe 2/3 the length. They\'re also narrower in diameter, my miniature 2 seems a bit smaller in diameter than my standard 0. The miniature 3/0 is about the smallest sable I\'ve seen. It doesn\'t hold a lot of paint, but works nicely for stuff like eyes and other super fine detail work. The handles of the two lines seem pretty much identical to me.

I agree with StarFyre that the miniature brushes have a more stable \'feel\'. I prefer them for doing basecoating and getting clean lines between areas and such, but I find I prefer the greater \'give\' of the standards for doing most layering work.

I lived in the Beaches when I was a kid, then in York and North York during and after school (lived twice on Bathurst Street). I moved down to Tennesee a couple years back when I married an American who happened to live here (though he\'s originally from Arizona.) I miss Toronto a lot, though I can\'t say I totally hate the milder winters down here or anything.
