@COG: The Ogre is a tribute to a gamer at the Source (the big game/comic store here in the Twin Cities) that had died here earlier this year :( The model is based off a drawing \'Roadkill\' drew up, with the sculpture finishing the sculpt in something like three days and the casting completed in like two weeks. So a bit of a rarity and what not. [/quote]
thank you

feeling a wee bit bad i opened it now :wow:
as it is the first one i want to paint.
oh and heres the pics. (forgot that also ..for a bit at least

Mailed the package off to sg2002 today. It\'s going to England from the US, but hopefully it arrives soon and that you enjoy what\'s inside.

GAPOW!!! Do you have a flag? No? That\'s because I received your package this morning.

There\'s no need for me to take pictures as I got this adventurers starter set in it\'s ORIGINAL BOX!!! If it wasn\'t for the fact that the minis have been stripped it looks like it\'s come straight off the shelf despite being twenty odd years old, a real museum piece. Cheers Gapow.

Sjakkie, get yourself up to the post office and post that man\'s minis. Huzzah for miniexchange :D

Odd your paints went to snot. I litterally still use paints from the Citadel Colour Set, The Creature Painting Set, Monster Painting Set and the Metallic Painting Set. All of them still work great and I much prefer the old paint pots to the new ones. I\'ve found many of my clear plastic screw tops have dried up while 20 year old Bronzed Flesh still works great.

I had the monster painting set and can\'t remember what the other one was called off the top of my head, but it was the one with blood red etc in it. The paints dried out quite badly, I tried to rescue them but they\'re still too lumpy to paint mini\'s with. I\'ve kept a few of the pots though, so that I can do some of my own mixes in them.

I think the new style GW pots are quite good, I loathed the damn screw on lids they brought out, paint always dried on the screw threads and made the paints dry out!

I\'m still waiting for mine to arrive. In either direction.
I anticipated my shipment to Canada to have arrived roughly today too. Hmm. Maybe Mr. Blight could enlighten us on a package status.

What! It\'s still not there? Argh!!! It\'s been over a week now! Sheesh. It\'s been shipped Priority as well, I didn\'t think it would take this long to get there!

@Red Army: I am assuming you are an american. If it was shipped over the border, and you still have the customs sheet, you should be able to trace it by going to the Canada Post website, and entering the customs number into their tracking program.

@kloma

The chaos centaur is from GW, again sometime during the 80s.

The grenadier is a female Solo from the Shadowrun range, based on the cyberpunk roleplay game of the same name.

Glad you liked them.
