Much thanks to you all. I lurked here for a while and I think I recall someone saying they couldn\'t duscuss the rules since it wasn\'t allowed, then again, I may just be imagining things.
Anyway, questions:
1. Captain Shrike appeals to me, perhaps it\'s the beak helmet (a favorite in Space Marines) and the claws (yet another favorite). I can assume he excels in close combat, but aside from that, what else does he have to offer?
2. I e-mailed customer-service about Shrike and they said in order to use him, I\' have to follow Raven Guard rules. So does this mean I can\'t make a private chapter with different rules while still having Shrike at my disposal?
3. The Codex tells me my Librarian can have a Familiar. Will I have to build one or can it be bought?
Thanks in advance.

Definitely. In 40K there isn\'t a model which is defined as your army general. An HQ choice is just an HQ choice. And a Librarian or Chaplain fulfils that role just as much as a commander.Originally posted by Leunam
Can I use my Librarian or Chaplain as my commander of my army?
