I\'ll be there. I dropped by today to check out some of the entries, unfortunately there were alot less entries there than I expected.
Aussie Golden Demons

I entered two minis at brisbane and both got thru. I was surprised about the Butcher as I just pulled a mini of the shelf to see how it would go and it got thru. My hunter you\'ve probably already seen so I wont post it again.
Truth to tell tho there were only about 4-5 entries in each catagory anyway. The comp at Mt Gravatt will be alot harder tho.
Pity I cant be there but Im sending my GF with instructions to photograph every thing and talk to every one (which she will do anyway)
Good luck to everyone in the next round. I hope I make it to Sydney just so I have an excuse to go and meet up with some of you guys.

Australia is a rather large country so in order to allow everyone a chance to enter, the first couple of heats are held in each state then the ones that make it through are sent to Sydney where they are judged for the finals
The one drawback is that it takes ages.
I wish they did that in Canada, it\'s far larger than Australia..

Despite heavy competition I am through to the finals with my Isengaurd troll.
I was pretty impressed with some of the quality of work at the NZ region finals (not the depth). I will post some pics later tonight.

Well I didnt make it thru with either of mine. When I came down to it my hunter was deemed to not be part of the GW imagery (Even though it was based on the Goat head banner deco).
Anyway maybe next year. Congrats to all the others who got thru. And congrats to you Dr E I saw your entry its very good. Maybe we can paln to meet next year. They have the Cup match between OZ and NZ so maybe we could get a game of WH in as well.

Hoorah! I got through to the final :beer: and this time there were actually more than 3 entries. The others that got through though looked pretty damned good so i\'m feeling very nervous of the next round.
That was a tough break Ogrebane i couldn\'t believe it when i heard them explaining why you didn\'t get through. I\'m certainly not a fan of the tie breaker rules, if anything the rules should be the complete opposite. It shows the effort you\'ve put into an entry when you come up with a new spin on an old idea.
That being said though your category did have some great entries.
