Oh, quit yer complaining. You\'re ladies - all you have to do is wear something slinky, go \'Yoo hoo, nekkid men wanted\' and I guarantee you at least a couple will show up.
Damn right! Let the boys try that and see what happens. We\'d get dominatrices ready to play at femdom instead of willing and nekkid wimmin. It\'s just plain unfair, I tell you.

but why do we need an ad selling things illegally. im sure others dont want a bad rep for the site. if blizzard so desire they could get this site shut down for those ads.

Hang on. In your first post you state that you play world of warcraft. In your second post you state that you are unable to pay $1 a month to not have to look at the ads on this site because you have no money. Last time I checked WoW wasn\'t free.

yes i play wow, yes i have to scringe up money everytime i need a new game card. the money i get from centrelink (the government) and what i used to get from working barely covers the cost of rent food and caring for a baby. so when i wanna play wow to have a bit of time out from reality i have to save up for it. playing wow is not a luxury for me.

I\'m sorry. But how is playing World of Warcraft not a luxury? If you don\'t play you will not die, or suffer bodily harm and nothing will happen to your family. So, how is this not a luxury?

A couple thigns:

I don\'t think Chern decides what ads go on cmon or not, he just sells the space to an advertiser and they decide what to run. He didn\'t sit there an go, you know what would be a good ad for CMON, half naked ladies and WoW gold.

The whole I have a family, I can barely aford food, but I play WoW thing makes me literall sick. Get your f\'ing priorities straight man. I have a family, I play WoW, and City of Heroes, and Final Fantasy Online, but I can also afford to feed my family well and haven\'t been scrounging for money for 15 or so years. Back in the living in aparment days on Kraft, the video games were the first thing to go. Let me guess you have a HD TV, Satellite and a PS3 as well?

Yeah, I have to agree a bit. If one could find time to play WOW, then surely they could find time to be doing some sort of odd job to make just a bit more cash to help feed the family.

It\'s one thing to go hungry for yourself because you\'d rather play a game, but all together different when there is children involved.

Ok. You guys just said what I was trying to be subtle about.

God knows I have a knack for making people angry on this site.

Thats why I was wondering how he figures it isn\'t a luxury.

Seems like Ebon has hit asympathetic note amongst a lot of us. I must admit that even as someone who can\'t be bothered with computer games, I think the commented post is somewhat strange.
I have no comprehansion as to why WoW isn\'t a luxury. And If I had kids I know that there would be a lot less lead in my house as that is a luxury I\'d reserve for after my wife & kids were secure.

WoW isn\'t considered a luxury compared to FFXI lol
But yeah, it is in essence. Anything you don\'t need to live can be considered a luxury by definition.

Destressing? The wife of a mate of mine convinced him that buying a new pair of shoes every other week was not a luxury, but a necessity. As was the facial and manicure. Her reasoning was that a new pair of shoes made her feel good, and the manicure and facial relaxed her and made her look and feel good. Thus reducing her stress levels. Related to retail therapy that many of us mini buyers are so prone to. Hmmm... this reasoning might have nutrition, but I still find it very hard to digest.

But hang on, guys, Jester of Death did say that he saves up for his WOW time. We may not agree with him that WOW is not a luxury, but; it\'s not like he\'s thrown all priorities to the wind. When he admits to selling his kid\'s shoes for WOW money, then there\'s a real issue.

Unless, of course, his kid buys new shoes every other week. :)

that is my point. When you have a baby, ther is no such thing as saving up. diapers and such a wicked expensive.

Especially when you have to get government aid. No one\'s government throws big wads of cash to people.
