Great job! Yeah, you really need to lighten your pics more, Ischa. What program are you using?

I had to laugh about your NMM comment - I'm studying yours to get help with mine! lol!

using a free version of photoshop. the pics dont seem quiet so dark on my computer. even darkened them down to get rid of a shine on the minis. should try to get another spotlight with a daylight bulb. my current lights arent helping me.
cheers for the last comment, always more inspiring to paint if it helps others improve=D

Do they look dark when you post them here? If they don't then it's your monitor. You may want to play around with the brightness/contrast or gamma.

If they do look dark here compared to what you were looking at earlier that's a whole 'nother can of worms.

ah what the hell!

I´ll say to much anyways. I´m going to give this a try http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp1gsuQe1Xw
I´ve never seen it done on a miniature, and on such small scale, so if I succeed, I think it´ll be awesome!

Most inspirational vid I´ve seen in a while, and the craziest effect ever I think. Now where is that resin?

Not going to post any more wip pics of the dwarf diorama, may post some of the dwarf banner bearer though, a mini I´m going to enter into the fang!

:D

Great work ischa! Can I ask about the shadows for the gold? What mixture are you using? I use dark flesh and black which I like but has a redder tone.

Cheers

Ischa I am envious of your free time :) and also of the very niccelly painted dwarfs, I like them.

Wish that I had less work, since I was in Göteborg I have had one evening for painting. It is really itching now to get some time. Hopefully next week.

The detail of that paintjob is just awesome, man. It creates such a nice and stylized look...
