Dude, you need to calm down. It isn\'t that big of a deal. Suck it up and shut up. Both Hygmer and I gave you our valid criticism of your mini. We didn\'t bash it. We calmly and reasonably told you why we gave you the scores. Learn to take criticism. We aren\'t bashing you because we have a problem with you. I don\'t know you, I don\'t care about you, and I certainly don\'t care what your minis score. I have better things to do than spend my days sniping people. Hence why I left you a comment. I validated the score I gave.
You certainly won\'t make any friends here with the attitude you have, and this certainly won\'t help your scores. Don\'t argue with us and don\'t call us names.

Theres nothing wrong with your comments..all are valid its only the score you tagged with it that i can\'t understand...thats all. I do however take back calling people nobs *hands held high*. When all is said and done the current average score (7.9) is closer to my estimate than other folks views (this surprises me with the way this thread has gone) This makes me think some voters are way off the mark here (7.0/ 7.5) Valid comments but way off the average vote. You are tough cookies to please

Dude, going by the voting guide an 8 is a great job, so even if people are giving you 7s they think it is good. When you are hitting around that score why are you so concerned anyway?
You have said yourself that it\'s not a 9 or 10, so by your expectations the majority of voters would give it an 8, with some people giving it a 7 and some people giving it a 9. How are you struggling to grasp this?

I gave Grimaldus and Sicarius an 8 score when first opening the link, and before reading the thread, because I think it justifies that score. (cenobyte things a 7.5)
RE Grimaldus (the main topic of the thread)although there are some great bits, IMHO there are areas that do let this down (Mainly the base and scripture as already said, but also the nmm chains of the weapons- they are too similar to the armour and look black not metallic) I am also not a huge fan of the osl candles, but do like it round the eyes and the plasma pistol.
To crack anything above an 8, you need to be convincing a fair few people thai it is worth a 9, which by your own admission you have acknowleged it isn\'t.
They look so much better in the display base, but voters are not psychic and can only give their score and opinion on what they see in front of them.
The bottom line is this is a very well painted unit regardless of what the scores are, and one you should be proud to have in your gallery. Its obvious by the quality and attention to detail that a lot of time and effort has went into them, but they lack that wow factor that warrants a 9 or 10.

i agree orky. Average 9\'s and 10\'s are amazing pieces. It just rocked my boat a little when i suspected originally that it got sniped, hence the little rant in the first place.
I wanted the steel nmm to be really dark. your right they are almost black and this allowed my to play around with osl...not true osl as people have already mentioned...this was not my intention but only to have a happy medium of surrounded light and osl.
I have never seen a mini fluctuate as much as this one.....ever. I just get a feeling that there now people out there to prove a point which imo proves i had reason to defend my work in the first place. Since my last post of stating its average it has dropped again....Which i expected it too. i wonder why. At the end of the day i do feel its my best work so far and i\'m happy with it. Happy painting folks.
