Good luck with the challenge Uber ... I think you\'re going to need it.
On the same lines there is a cafe in my general area which is selling a \"seriously hot\" burger. It is supposedly rated at 1 million Scoville and you have to sign a disclaimer before you buy one to acknowlegde that you know that it is actually dangerous for you to eat it. Two people have had to call an ambulance after becoming \"seriously distressed\" whilst attempting to finish one.
Not good for repeat clients... well not repeat as in coming back for more .... but it made the news, so as they say \"Any advertising is good advertising\"

I didnt think insanity sauce was that bad..
I collect hot sauces/additives. The hottest I have, i believe, is the hottest that you can actually buy still (the hotter stuff was all limited edition).
The stuff I have is called \"The Source\"..rated around 7-9 million skoville units I believe. Neverhad it yet but won\'t have it straight.
I have had around 750K straight...forgot the sauce we have for it...it was hot..depends what you are used too...
keep ice cream handy incase!!!
also have pure naga jilokia (world\'s hottest peppers) at home..dried full peppers, flakes, and crushed powder...
still need more of these sauces to get

ive had daves and it sucked, but we have a place where i live called \"Teds Kickin\' Chicken\" and they have 5 flavors: hot, extra hot, suicide, 3x suicide, and 6x suicide. Not sure of the scoville units of the 6x but i had to sign a waver releasing them from any liability before i ate it. I ordered 15 regular suicide, for my last wing I dipped a small piece into the 6x suicide and immediately my throat began swelling and it began to become hard to breathe. I could barely see and all i could do was cough, my nose started running uncontrollably and then the vomiting began. I\'m not sure if it was \"blairs mega death sauce\" that they put on there but i do know that the 6x suicide is about 20x hotter than daves insanity.

Remember, anything over the Naga Jilokia (around 1-1.2 million scoville) is a food additive technically, since they use extract directly in it and they are abnormally hot (the naga is the hottest pepper in the world, natural...so stuff like The Source, etc is NOT meant to be a sauce; they also have warnings as such if you check out Tastethepain.com ).

Something often not talked about is that with actual peppers, and not a concentrated sauce, the heat can vary a lot from one to another. I bought Scotch Bonnets one time - was warned by the Chinese shop assistant in fracture English that they were a hot! - and they were very mild, much less than an average Jalapeño.
Another tip for newbies, very important if you can\'t take a lot of heat: don\'t test chilli heat at the tip of the pepper. Even a very hot variety can actually be quite sweet at the end. The capsaicins are concentrated in the pale parts inside that the seeds are attached to, inside the upper portion of the pepper (not the flesh and not the seeds).
