This looks really good. I would continue to work at possibly pulling deeper shadows and a little brighter highlights, especially on the armour. I would say the shadows are a bit abrupt, maybe take a little more space to blend them into the midtone, especially on the parchment--it's a very abrupt transition from shadow to highlight, bring your midtones back. All in all, great job on this mini, I'm sure it looks awesome in person too!

The technique is great, but he's all the same tone. With the orange harness and the gold, it just kinda all washes out. Well painted, but there needs to be more contrast.

I like it alot, bearing in mind that this is a mega close up, it is a very neat job and must like a whole lot nicer when not blown up to 4 times the actual size.

trying to get better pics. i tried making a light box but it made it too dark and actually made the model look alot worse... i must have doone something wrong. getting good pics is the most challenging part of the hobby for me.

Very nice red. Im not sold on the osl on the helmet or the orange cables on his chest...slightly too "camp" for me

Very nice work. I would say a little bit more contract on the red amour and a touch more on the gold (although the shading is great), again though this is down to preference.

The paint is great but I agree that the orange straps are getting washed out in the red. I'm not sure if this is a specific color scheme but I think the straps would look better if painted a darker color would probably make the red stand out a bit more.
