Methinks I can TMM!!!!
-please note: I still have a bit of work to do on the armor parts that look complete. A lot of edge highlighting and picking out some pieces that will make it look a lot more dynamic, especially the all black areas. Cheers!

Very nice work there! a bit of different colours would help on the skin subtle like greens blues in the shadows veeerrrryyy subtle though

Yup, will comply. Plan a purplish glaze under and around the eyes. Where would you place some green on him? I wanted to do this because I have a very subtle green-brown in the armor, and wanted to replicate it somewhere on the mini but couldn't decide where/how...

In the bottom section of the face so the hollows of the cheeks bottom section and a little bit along the jaw line were there are more shadows not were it gets more light. I would also strongly suggest doing a thin glaze (no pooling) of black were stubble would naturally form.

Te purple is a game changer...and you were worried......:/ ..lmao...you .should have the confidence of Floyd mayweather...the way you paint brother....out of everybody your the one who shouldn't even bat a lash to try something when no matter what it is your success rate of pulling it off is 1000% ....really wonderful piece.

Oh, I should really point something out while the bust is in this state: Although it is being exaggerated a bit by the angle, look at the difference in darkness between his chest/belly and his shoulders. The former is much darker because I have applied some lamp black to it. So if you ever want to make your black even darker so that its contrast spectrum is pushed, applying some oils to it will do the trick. Remember though that you can't paint over this with acrylic though, so save it for last. And lamp black is superior in this regard than Ivory black or Mars black. Lamp will dry faster and darker, IME. Try it out, don't be skurred.

Looking great mat. Tmm is coming along nice I think you could go a touch heavier with the glazes of colour on it though. Keep that mojo bro

The armor's looking great! I think it's cool that you're trying to reference historical trends in the color of steel due to armor-maintainance practices. Pride in the obscure detail is one of the inviolable sanctities of the true nerd, after all.

Probably NMM. Since he is fantasy. I'm already brainstorming color schemes. Copper plates on the raptor with heavy verdigris and wear. Like the stuff is ready to break off because the armor is never removed (too dangerous).

Could be worse, check out the cost of some of those 90mm mounted figures. You could get a lot of 28mms for just one of those!

Have you check out Karol Rudyk's facebook page? If that's your inspiration, it's worth checking out. Lots more pictures and some pseudo tutorials (mostly pictures, not so much text so you sort of have to figure out for yourself what the steps are)
