sorry for the rant but i felt like sharing my experiance

from ben to ben,you\'ve done an amazing job and made us all proud,i saw this on the day and loved it straigt away it stood out like a sore thumb and i dont mean in a bad way,i picked up a couple of pins myself 40k single and open,i was so proud of myself to see my open entry write in the middle of all the winners just before they picked them,i did\'nt win but it did\'nt really matter it just mean\'s you that you must be doing somthing write to get that far and keep on trying because one year you might crack it......once again well done thaks for the inspiration and sorry for the rant guys.

thanks ben

@lean bean, that wasnt a rant, it was gushing. there has been a lot of it from british painters lately so its only fair that you should get swept up in it. now go and paint something that\'ll win next yr!!

I didn\'t recognise the name ijee until I had a look at his gallery and I remember photographing the ogre for him up at the PB meet in June :) very nice work indeed

nice figs all! I was wondering, the miniature of the pirate standing on the stairs in the open category bronze winner, what model is that? Or did the winner make it himself?

Pretty sure that the Pirate would be a sculpt. Mike Anderson, who produced the diorama, is one of the Citadel sculptors.
