Happy new year.
Im pleased to show you the finished BT sarg. I have finished the chaplain too but need to scale pic and montage them both, but I was so pleased with the pic of the sarg I figured I would share it now. All I did was scale and add canny to the corner! I was unable to replicate it even with the same settings about 10 mins later after helping my little girl with her pram and dolly.

I have also done a little work on the chaos lord, I hve not done too much on him but did spend some time with my brother and we painted some of his descent board game miniatures quite pleasing to have a break and apply what you have learnt and Brin was very happy with the results.

the armor has a dark and a main colour on it and have started the gold.
Take care over in the USA I see there is a COLD snap coming.

I will have to take my camera to my bros place next ime. I tried to get some on the phone camera, crappy phone. Im band from getting a good phone as I go through phones like my wife goes through chocolate, the last 2 died in true builders style, crushed behind my tool belt and the other steamed to death under my rain coat on a wet day at the building site.

The sarge is awesome! I bet your Cousin (brother or nephew?) was stoked. And done in time for the holidays.
Glad to see you have started a new project too. I know you said you were getting bogged down. deadlines work good for me also painting with other people is fun. Looks like you are off to a good start on the new guy.

Pissed at myself for one knackered phone dropped it the loo when about to take a leak. !!
I do like the BT sarge, a bit of a step up in your painting. If you do decide to do another BT can I suggest you think about adding touches of Blue to the upper facing surfaces. It just gives that Skylit/natural look to a Black mini.

Thanks guys Im pretty pleased with him.
Ah cool nice thinking about the blue, that is something to try next time, Heck I will add some to the chaos lords armor should work well with the cape. I hear the phonoloo strikes a few people thats a pretty bad problem!

Congratulations! Say goodbye to your brushes for a while
I don't know... My 5 week old's favorite spot to fall asleep is bouncing in the sling while daddy slaps the paint! Sometimes if he's fussy he requires a little more attention but I have had a couple of good 1- 2 hour sessions with the little guy bouncing on my knees. Hot Sling FTW!
