Oh man! Diggs so true! one more brush stroke, Lol water bases I did think man I wish I could freeze that and shrink it! Things are almost back to normal. Still a lot of debris on road sides and the trains are back in service, the slips which cut off the trains and state highway 2 and 1 are clear now. Unfortunately one 80 year old man died, he got swept away exiting his vehicle as it was flooding, very sad.
I did get to the ww100 exhibition before the floods and got some pics. I will have to go back again another time because my 3 year old was all over the show and the 1 and a half year old wanted to copy her. It was a bit hard to enjoy it, they loved it full of questions. (blue jacket and green bag wife and little one.)
You can really see how big the dio is. below is me, also met one of the other guys outside who I did some painting with.

Holy crap Canny that's huge , in the pic with your missus in it it looks to go up and around the corner . Damn I get bored painting a space marine squad . How many figures all up are in the diorama.
Is it going to stay there indefinitely at the museum , I gotta get there and see that.
We had flooding at roughly the same time as you guys , same storm front we got it a bit before you, we had some people pass away aswell,sad..
You should have tried to sneak in a running space marine in there somewhere

Canny since you took part in it by painting some, you should take some pics and put it in the gallery for scoring. Might be an easy way to score high...hehehe

YUP! Me too, visiting "kiwiland" was on my to do list before the LOTR movies start, now visiting WETA and this impressive diorama should be an awesome addition to the trip.
