These are progressing very nicely, as many have said the first renders give a damaged effect, the second renders seem to have worked very well

Funny you should say! I have one of the lads from the painting group doing a test resin copy, hes pretty sure that the .4mm space between the tiles is going to be tricky to make the mould durable. we will see and go from there. I see some other resin casts have massive looking tiles and I hope to avoid that cos they look crappy and I wouldnt buy them.

On another note I printed a stencil and have been modeling a gun form destiny called the Trespasser. you can flick through more of the build on the RPF (Replica Prop Forum, the place where you wear your builds and crafts).

80% of real size to test it all fits and looks good greeblies look to scale from the actual sidearm, I know the whole gun is to scale from the software but what they look like on the screen is decieving to reality, . . . . . I was sure my mini looked better than that hahahahaha

My buddy made this printer and I have been playing for a few months. BUT this week I have lent it, hes kinda printed everything he can think of and was nice enough to lend it to me as I kept on asking when I could come over until he said do you want to borrow it so I laughed and said yeah haa! So I have had a over dose this week staying up till stupid times and then telling myself go to be early and then staying up again. But its been productive.

I knew you were talented but now your a 3d sculptor who knows his way around a 3d printer... Man oh man you guys aren't only big and tough as nails rugby players but your way above the normal brilliant kinda genius IDE expect this type of behavior from. I guess being tired and delusional staying alive like Sherlock Holmes on caffeine and nicotine has its merits... At least when it comes to canny. Why do I nickname you CAN CAN.... Well that's easy ..aside being a tutor and coach who's advanced me many times ... But it's more along the lines if CANNY C A N DO ANYTHING!!!;$

So I have been busy . .. . .3d printing and designing.
extra close spots and taken a few spot in a tad. This is because of the extra fabric thickness in places.

Unfortunatly putting the helmet on and off and squashing it on to the fabric has weakend the joint so you can just make them out lucky they will be cast in resin in the future.

I have not forsaken thee. . . .I have been doing a Painting evening every week with a new friend from the wargaming club :) and a little in my own time mostly fiddling with the dwarves (mawhahaha) for the exchange.

need to get better at eyes, they are too bright I think.
No School, Just the fusion 360 forum and youtube just like when people start to paint. its 90% learn 10% do and then 90% fix and start again but each time you get further.

I also share the love for that leather hat, but the "pale/yellow" orange on the infinity is ace too IMO.
