One of my cats used to play goalkeeper - i would throw him a ball, he would jump and catch it with his paws, then pat it back to me! Would keep him going for hours...

Concerning this thread, there is a book called Diary of a Wombat by Jackie French.
It\'s a kids book but so subtle about it. Try and find it at your local library. It\'ll take 10 minutes to read and a lifetime to enjoy.
It\'s so much like this thread origin.
