Hey everyone, my name is Tony and I'm a tech addict... :D

I got myself a new and fancy smartphone a few months ago now and while I can't say it has changed my life it sure does help a bit. I'm one of those guys who likes to have a camera, an mp3-player, a watch, a book, a calculator, a phone, a bus schedule, a usb-stick and a means to pay the bus ticket with me at all times in case of me needing it or being bored and well, instead of carrying half my own weight in gadgets and packs I find having it all available in a small package very convenient. I love the fact that I'm able to instantly check why my credit card is malfunctioning and being able to solve the issue quickly at the store or just pop up my Gps and find out just why I walked those five blocks in the wrong direction of that store I've never visited before.
I'm using the phone for accepting emails as well as calls and messages, combined with my computer at home constantly being on it's actually easier to reach me via email than any other means.

When I'm out of the house my phone is as important as the clothes on my back, I literally feel naked without it, but at home I couldn't care less, at home the phone is my camera and that's it.

But I must say, I'm not one to talk on the phone a lot, I do text people though. But texting or talking behind the wheel? BIG no-no. Safety always comes before convenience.

I paint my thumb.
I've been tricked into having one, when my GF bought a new fancier one, she said we can't just throw the old one in the garbage. It's the old kind, it only does send/receive calls, not 'smart', lol.
I rarely use it, but I have to carry it at all times, in case of booty call.... or maybe baby call... yeah the later, lol

The Emergency Clause:

When the spouse requires you to carry a cell-phone at all times in case something untoward should happen, thus obligating you to paying a monthly fee for something you don't need or use. Oh, and now your spouse has the excuse to pester you at all times.

I have a smartphone and love it, but there are people who take it too far for sure. You know the folks who will whip it out while at dinner with your and insist they are listening and to keep talking. Or those who whip them out if they aren't intently interested in TV show, etc you're currently watching together.

See the windows phone 7 adds? Yah, I know the people they're talking about in those ads.
