For those who don\'t know who \"Velrys, Prince of Impures\" is, here is a link :

Nice mini, could have a great dark base.

@tidoco2222 : Inquisitor minis could do the trick also. I just love the Jes Goodwin ones, but am open to others.

@frenchkid : Yeah, he\'s a great beast, the Devourer that is ;). And it would be very easy to attribut different zones to everybody. But I really think that james9487 should have the final word as to which mini we should paint. All the minis that have been mentionned are more than nice and from what I\'ve seen, everybody that has signed up has the necessary talent to paint them. I think the real chalenge will be to get harmony in all our different styles and techniques ;).

Crazy thing about ages

Just noticed something weird :

frenchkid is 17
I\'m 27
tidoco2222 is 37

OK so who is 7, 47, 57, 67, or 77 ;)?

PS : Sorry for flooding this thread, I\'m taking time off from work and greenstuff takes forever to dry ;).

I\'ll go with that devourer mini I bet that it is a real challenge to paint whichever bit you get only don\'t expect NMM from me not my strong point that.

Albinosoldier314, we need to know where you live. Thanks.

Alright, is this everyone? I like the Rackham miniature in the link in my last post and I think so did a few others. Anyone else have any final suggestions before we begin? After we have the miniature selected, we need to divide up who does what and when. Sound good? Thanks,
-James

I would love to join the bang wagon ;)

If James hasn\'t got a new subscription via PM than you\'re in leopardpixie :).

@frenchkid : I will be 28 on the 3rd of March. Not only will we have the 8 thing, but also the 28 ;).

OK, so enough with this number $h|+ ;). Here are my skills (well, at least what I think of them) :

*) Conversion : handy with greenstuff, feather board, and plastic sheets;
*) Faces : OK but not outrageous;
*) NMM : learning but IMHO convincing;
*) Freehand : not my best, depends on the motif;
*) Light sourcing : in my dreams, but would love to have a go at it ;).

Does anybody have ideas for the base? I was thinking of a foresty look, but that might be to commun.

Well tonight I\'m off to Sardegna and Tuesday I\'ll be in Paris, so if you start assigning roles, just put me in what\'s left ;).

Well for the moment I guess that what I\'m best at is doing big area\'s of cloths ( just liek most recent WIP) so I\'d have to say the cloth he as between is legs looks like the best area for me. Or the armour if we do it a color, but that would be a big part of the mini. As for the order since mister green stuff is good with conversion and base I sugest we start with him (and the fact htat he is in france makes it easy for him to buy the mini. then we do europe and then we send it to canada and finnaly USA were it\'s sold on ebay think this is the most practile way to do it. What do you think ?

I am with you on that one frenchkid as too what I am good at well I think that I can do skin tones fairly well and metallics (conventional) that is.
I think selling it on e-bay in America/Canada is the best way to go as painted minis seem to do better over there than they do here in the UK.

Sounds fine with me, I can even get it today. The only thing is that I won\'t be able to work on it before a weeks time (have to be at the aeroport today à 6PM and next week it\'s back to work :\'( ).

Spacemunkie volonteered (I think), a few posts back, to do the base (of course if you want to do other areas, please do, I just love your painting). If this still holds, then I\'ll clean up the mini, maybe add some chains and spikes if thats OK with everybody (I\'ll post a drawing before; if there are some freehand freaks, please say so and I\'ll leave some nice flat zones), prime it (black or white ? ... the eternal painting debate ;) ), and put some pins in the feet for the base. I might even paint something if there is something left to paint.

Do you want the head glued on or not? Same thing for the double blade?

It would be nice if somebody came up with a paint scheme so that we won\'t find out too late that the colors don\'t go together right.

By the way, if I get the mini, the cards will of course be in french ... I hope that doesn\'t bother anyone? Is it going to be on a playable base or on a showcase base just to know if the cards are important or not :).

@frenchkid : no need to go by Mister with me ... it makes it sound like I have my dad\'s age (mind you, I\'d like to have his health when I reach his age ;) ). Cédric will be fine :).
