Ok. Thanks very much green stuff for getting the figure. So far, the devourer will go from Green stuff to frenchkid, who will paint the loin cloth. Since there are about 10 people, give or take, I\'ve brainstormed a way to divide up the figure.

1. Green stuff- conversion, undercoat, maybe something else.

2. Frenchkid - loin cloth

(the following are in no particular order yet)

3. Spacemunkie- base (the shirt underneath the armour?)

4. minimart- flesh

5. kittykat23uk- - fur/hair and tail

6. Tidocco2222-metal (chains, blade of sword, edge of the armour)

7. james9487 - the thing in his hand (I have no idea what it is, lol!)

8. Medved- the red of the armour plates and some freehand!

9. kittykat23uk - Claws, fingernails/claws, and leather straps

10. james9487 (Me!)- the part of the sword that is not metal, Testors dullcote matt varnish

If I have made a mistake or you have any changes, just pm me or post reply.

Got back from Sardegna at 2AM ... was great, but the short nights plus the fact that the plane took off 2 hours late are definitively not good for my meeting with a client this morning :\'(. And tomorrow I\'ve got a train to Paris at 6:30AM ... but I will still try to post the sketches by Thursday evening (french time).

Anyways, I\'m glad the list of \"who/what\" is taking shape.

Hi all

yes james I do still want to be involved in the mini, if you want the matallics doing in the conventional way then I am your man just check out my Necron Destroyer to get an idea of that, other wise I can do claws and finger nails and the like but anything will do.

Oh, yes, the base of course!! Don\'t mind painting (or not) a part of the mini - whatever, as I seem to have \'acquired\' a little more painting than I had anticipated

well if we do conventional metal I\'d definetly put tidoco on that, he\'s metalics are great
Loin cloth is definetly good for me, even though no free hand And just a small question should we keep the original paint scheme or find another one ?

I think it would be cool to stray from the original colour scheme just to make it our own so to speak. I think a direct copy would probably be a bit lame so a bit of imagination would be a good idea.

New paint scheme sounds awesome. I\'m not good at that sort of thing, so if one of ya\'ll has an idea for a new scheme, please, do post it! I\'m still waiting for the addresses for most of you so please send that to me ASAP so we can establish the order and so I can send it to the next person in line. Thanks,

Sketches

Hi everybody,

I finally found some time to do some quick sketches (wouldn\'t want to hack up the mini without everybody agreeing ). I did a before/after sketch so that you\'ll get a better idea.

I can take critism, so if something doesn\'t feel right, don\'t worry, just say it . I\'ve got other ideas, but this seemed correct fluff-wise (by the way, the base was just an idea, I\'m sure Mr Spacemunkie will have better ideas).

I\'ll start converting this week-end, so if anybody has extra ideas, I\'m all ears .

lucky you, wish I could actually draw somthing. But after many attempts I have given up, no I just pout my conversion ideas in writing and pray for them to work, wich is why I\'m not great converter.
Well looks good to me And for scheme maybe somthing cold with blues, and a grey/blue skin tone ?

Well thanks guys for your feedback . As I said, I\'ll only start on saturday, so I\'m still open for good ideas .

For the paint scheme, I was thinking of what Rackham did for the second Devorer Carnassier (I don\'t know how they called him in english). I would have put up a link, but apparently, at the time I\'m writing this message, the Rackham site is down :\'(. But some cold dark blue look would be cool, could even contrast well with all the blood and guts of the unlucky Wolfen in his hand .

A cold theme to the colour sounds good possibly an icy blue theme would look good.
