ok then.
I wasn\'t too pumped with the pics, and the weather is supposed to be foul for the next few days, so here are a few pics of some different detail stuff. It\'s a tall pic, so click on the thumbnail to open it up.
1st pic: Cart from megamini. The grain sacks are Tamiya sandbags.
2nd pic: The barrells are from Lemax, they make christmas village stuff. I picked them up from amazon. The green chair is just scratch built. The two jars are both silver beads. I get a lot of use out of beads.
3rd pic: Mushrooms made from balls of dried glue, cut in half. I glue the cut halves to a pin. The smaller mushrooms are the top half of the pins, simply painted.
4th pic: A hitching post. Made from square balsa, a copper ring, a half circle of styrene, and a small rectangle of styrene. The lantern on top is another silver bead, unpainted.
5th pic: stick bundles, made from corn broom bristles, tied with sewing string. The horse droppings are rolled balls of dried glue.
6th pic: The windows are from a couple of different places. The one on the left is from the Mordheim blood on the streets. The one on the right is a silver buckle from the scrapbooking store. The long grasses are from woodland scenics. I hear a lot of people use old paintbrushes as well for this.
7th pic: scratchbuilt table. The pumpkin is from Busch Ho scale. Picked them up the model railroad store. The beer stiens are again, silver beads. The sack is from Tamiya 1/35 armor accessories.
8th pic: Another lemax barrell, the helmet is from GW Bretonian men at arms plastic sprue, and the folded blanket is again from tamiya armor.
Lastly, a pic that shows how it matches up to the gatehouse, and the rest of the city walls. Pretty soon I have to plan how this city is going to work.lol
Hopefully I will be able to get some more pics and submit this thing pretty soon.
