It\'s not a great movie, but it\'s not bad.
To compare it to a real event, it would be like 9/11 after the first jet hit the building. These kids would be the equivalent of the people stuck in the top of the building. This is the POV of someone at ground zero not knowing what the hell is going on. Had someone had a vid cam in the building, I\'m pretty sure it would\'ve been really similar.

in 9/11 only those on the outside found out what was going on and only after hours, or even days did we get a glimpse at the whole story.
Think of it as a movie told from the extras POV rather than the hero\'s.

This would be like Star Trek told from a red shirts POV, or Star Wars from the POV of an average citizen of Alderaan.

The more I see, the more I see Godzilla from the average Tokyo citizens point of view. HTF is this new or cutting edge.


And the more I worry about Star Trek.

For most people names are easier to remember and distinguish at a glance than numbers are. Try minimising the window and reciting this number:

684146254612/b654

I bet it\'s harder than remembering something like operation: take \'em from behind lol

Way to complicated - and besides, most operations are titled in such a way as to not give away what you are doing - for example Operations Olympic and Coronet - the planned invasions of Japan at the end of WWII - which were in turn part of Operation Downfall.

I watched the Host last week...

Loved the monster...although I wasn\'t sure if some parts were supposed to be funny or not (like when the grieving family is having a \'fit\' all over the floor)....

Kinda odd, but enjoyable!

I haven\'t seen Cloverfield yet, so, I\'ll try and avoid the conversation above...
