Bye, Ming-Hua

(Hi from Cristina :) )
Unfortunately she\'s not able to sculpt at this level :(

Yeah it does look like a dragon that is best made in fimo. It does seem to work well in that due to the rounded and relatively simple shapes. @dragon paint... It\'s a cute little thing isn\'t it :) I like it.

Thanks! I agree, the Fimo will work well and I have tons of it here at home... I just have to learn how to sculpt it ;)

Hmmm... seems I have to take some new pic of myself and post them on the PYP thread to have a fair chance to be immortalized in a miniature. lol

Now I\'m weird AND an idiot!!! lol (Scott\'s never going to let me live this one down!)

Nice to know that we have our own resident psychologist to turn to. I\'m sure after a few more of my posts Scott will be calling you and have my little white coat ready!

I DO have thing about little white coats:flip:

By the way, just to dig your hole even deeper, it\'s traditional for the psychologist to wear the white coat...not the patient:D

I was actually thinking of the kind that they tie the arms around your back and put you in the padded room - unless the doctors in the UK wear the straightjackets! :bouncy:

There is no such thing as digging my hole any deeper - it\'s just how long I stay in it! It\'s already so deep I ought to be able to have a nice little chinese family make all my meals for me. (My \"tell it like it is\" mouth gets me into lots of trouble.

They actually probably wouldn\'t even notice :(

or if they did, they\'d probably just figure I found a new girlfriend who insisted on dressing me with a little style...

By the way, if you\'re really serious about sculpting CMON members I may just join in for the fun of it. When I find the time. Sounds like a fun exercise. And doing portraits can help me avoiding the \"all faces are the same\" thing many sculptors end up with. Not now though. Still, people keep the sketches coming, I may just get inspired. :)
That would be great if you joined in Ming-Hua :D. I would just like to set down options on Becca (she has already accepted), Jo, and Nathan (who has also already accepted).

@RedDawn : Thank you very much, I just hope I\'ll manage to stay fidel to the originals ;). Sorry, no corset for Margo, I thought that design fitted in better with the type of cloths I\'ve seen her in :).

@Eric : Follow the white rabbit ;).

@Margo : Since nobody has said it, and I have been patient : I call DM lol!

Of course you\'re the one to decide how you want to picture me! That\'s the best part of it -- letting the sculptor do whatever he thinks suits best.

I am open to suggestions though. For your design, I simply used that last picture you posted of yourself. The pose was perfect.

Like if Eric wants a cyber hand or a com-link, that\'s not a problem. Arthur will be getting his Indo China cross and Anja her sword in her right hand ;). Half of the fun in this project is designing the mini. Check out the sculpting project we\'re working on with Ming-Hua, and others from CMON. If you have some fancy jewlery or hair style you would like, just ask :).

You can as well use the picture from PYP (the one I duplicated in this tread earlier), the pose is quite suitable for a mini, I was told before :)
As for hair/jewelry, my hair is slightly longer than on that picture now, and I wear it down most of the time. And you\'re still welcome to make a corset :)

Hum, now I\'m going to have to study corsets ... talk about a hard life lol. I might ask Peter on that one :p.

Like Dragonsreach said, I\'d love to be around when he sees that thread :)

As for corsets, there\'s nothing complicated in them, really.

Yup, I said it could be quite usefull for instance for a vampire style pose. Though with a modification in that the foot closest to the viewer should be turned in that direction. That gets the viewer more involved while looking at the side of a foot sort of blocks the contact. :)

Bye, Ming-Hua

Yes, I remember you saing that :) Plus, the top I\'m wearing on that one is quite close to a corset. Basically, there are two main kinds of corsets -- with lace on the front side and on the back. I\'ve got the first kind, but I\'m not really wearing it anymore -- they\'re way out of fashion(remember, about two years ago corsets were a big hit?)

... and I still remember my cousin sister pulling the laces on the back of a corset of my wedding dress so tight that I literally had bruises for a week :))
