can \'o worms
I think I have to go along with the \'keep it as is\' crowd.
We signed up on CMON one year ago, and in that time, went from absolutley nowhere to #81. That is due entirely to seeing all the amazing stuff which CMON participants routinely post, and pushing ourselves to meet that standard.
We also make our living now exclusively from painting, selling, and sculpting minis... once again, CMON gets the major credit from that.
An elitist site would never allow for such a thing to happen, correct?
I aknowledge all the things people would rather see put in place for CMON, and the strange things that can happen here. However, people will always be able to defeat a system designed to prevent cheating or sniping... they just don\'t anything better to do, I suppose:flame
Also, I can understand how folks can get really tired of seeing countless numbers of 5-6 range minis. Going back one year, our first several postings barely scraped the 7\'s (mostly 5\'s).
As for the multiple postings, are people talking about many views of a poor mini, or just in general? I have had \"post more pics\" comments left on a vast majority of my minis (the dioramas in particular), and I have seen many other high rated figs with similar pleas.
Most of my dioramas are designed to be viewed from any angle, and some have interior areas which need to be shown as well. I have one of those pieces ready to post now. However, I was thinking of only posting a few, and then putting all the rest in an article. I don\'t have WIP pics, but I could put in enough text explaining how each element was rendered. I don\'t know what people would think of something like that---
