COMPETITION!!! Design my club a logo

Last I checked the point of this thread was to provide a service for a client. We are well aware of the copyright issue so let it go and GET TO WORK!!!

Personally I think the contest should be treated like it is a contest for such a logo. What makes this clubs logo any less important? Any work submitted should be something that the club can be proud of and something that other people will look at and appreciate.

Okay last comment.

Please don\'t assume our countries are so similar. We may be neighbours but there are cultural, moral and legal differences.

The fact that there is a contest with a prize doesn\'t matter at all. In fact I could legally take my club with a pink bow on it and put it up for sale in a local gallery. That would be totally legit.

I\'m done. Though if I get bored at work again I may come up with another logo.

Well heres a quick sketch i did

I know it does not have a club in it. I am still trying to figure out how I can make a club with a nail in it look spacey.

I\'m a bit out of the loop on this at the moment as the Mrs\' laptop is in the shop at the moment and she\'s monopolising my desktop.

I\'d like to try and get all the entries in by this time next week (Saturday 25th Oct) so I can print them off and take them to the club on Sunday for judging. If you would like to submit anything please send it to daklub(@)ntlworld.com obviously that\'s without the brackets just in case there are any spambots lurking around. If you think you can\'t make the deadline just let me know as judging is likely to take a little while and I\'m happy to accept late entries.

Don\'t forget we need the main logo AND something to go in one of the corners, preferably in colour. I\'m really loving what I\'ve seen so far and I\'m sure the other members will be well pleased with the standard of entries.

Good luck, I\'ll try and check in during the week in case anyone has any last minute questions.

Does posting our designs in this topic count as a submission or would you like them sent to your email as well?

I would appreciate it if people could email them because then I\'d have them all in one place. Also people have been posting rough sketches etc. on here so it will allow me to collect all the finished articles together without printing out unfinished ones.

Right then, that\'s about it. I\'ll be taking all the stuff I\'ve received to the club tomorrow so we can hopefully choose a winner. If you haven\'t sent me anything yet please try and do so before lunch time tomorrow. I\'ll get all the pics of this thread as well as the one that one kind person has actually sent to the email address
