CoolMiniOrNot Annual 2012 release date?

Christmas is coming up and I would definitely like to have the CoolMiniOrNot Annual 2012 in my stocking (or pillow case as I'm extra greedy he he). Also as I've got minis in it I want it to show off to my family friends next door neighbours and passing strangers!

So does any one know a release date as we are not that far off 2014!

Any news about the 2012 Annual? It has been a while since the request for pics was made (sent in pics of my choosen entry of course ;)) and still nothing new about the annual...

Got an email from CMON customer service. We are looking at a release in about 5-6 weeks! Yay! :party:

We are finalising the book, should go to print before Christmas. We will be a lot proactive for 2013 annual.

I missed the message requesting photos, so didn't send any in until a month after the deadline. Is it possible to find out if my ones made it into the annual?

Yeah. The annuals have been shipped and will be arriving in a few weeks. As a side note, we have started sending out invitations for 2013, so we will get that done a lot sooner.

Good to hear that the 2012 annual is on the way. With regard to the invitations to the 2013 annual, you might need to tweek the settings on the voting systems. I still have minis from April 2013 that have not reached 50 votes, and I guess that is not unique to me.

no, not unique, but that quasi-means not a lot of people know you :)

try 'advertising' the entries here on the forums and on other forums too (painter forums yield relatively low no. of votes, gaming ones more)

(also I try to help and voted on your minis that doesn't have 50 votes)

Thanks to those that have helped me by voting on my minis with less than 50 votes, much appreciated.

There does seem to be a general issue with minis getting > 50 votes. A quick scan through the gallery shows that the majority of minis posted as far back as last September still have not reached 50 votes. The ones that have tend to be the regular entries to the "Weeks Top 10", or the occasional one up for auction plus a few random ones.
I try to vote during the working week and probably get through about 100 per week. So is it a general voter apathy, or maybe the vast quantity of new posts per day that is causing problems?
