I think it\'s very good! Nice idea to tint some of the highlights in blue. I guess you are portraying a light effect of some kind? It\'s almost like it\'s a trick of the lighting, the red cape make\'s me unsure..hmm.. Well if it is indeed painted then I would suggest to tint slightly more areas. It seem a bit inconsistent right now. I can see no tinting on the green of the backpack for example and it\'s not obvious where the light is coming from. But very clean job non the less!
Thanks Avelorn. Lol the blue lighting effects on the armour are the results of my lighting....one of the things you like best about it and its my crappy lights
The sword is built up with dark blues though.
Thats crap!
Nah, i\'m kidding I really like it! reading Avelorns post I had to look twice lol He had me thinking it was highlighting too!
Can\'t go wrong with nice quartered banner motifs in my opinion and the freehand on the models nice too.
Sterling work matey
*edit* Forgot to say duh, is it grainy or is that just the pic? Iv\'e seen your other work and it seems pretty smooth in comparison???
Yeah you have got me thinking if i could paint it like this
Torn. Its not grainy though it looks that way. Its down to me having a crappy camera, crappy lights and not having a firm grasp at taking pics I know, i know a bad tradesman blames his tools
Join my club pics are a bane but getting some great help cheers avelorn...
Like the model looks sweet I keep promising myself I will paint a dark angel character someday Just so many things ..bit of a nightmare really...
@ DAM Tell me about it, after every shot posted I feel like bouncing the cam off the wall. I don\'t even have the crappy camera excuse cuz I got a new one! I just plain suck arse at photography. And thats with studio experience Oh the shame...
In fact, i\'ll blame it on the lighting setup instead!
Voted and posted BTW, great job
